Gram and I always enjoyed bread at your house. Costco bread was very good but for some reason, no matter where the bread came from, your bread was better than our bread. We probably used the cheaper cuts so to speak. We don't have a Costco, but I do sneak (a long with several hundred others apparently) into the unspeakable Wal-Mart every two or three weeks and fetch a loaf of their French Bread. We keep store bagels on hand, and even our bargain Aldi bread seems to get fresher as it gets older. (explain that) Probably something that isn't good for us, but at 78 one doesn't worry excessively about it. Yeah, I think we're bread addicts too. Peanut butter and blackberry jam are staples for sure. Love you.
